EVERY SINGLE COUNTY in Ireland now has a case of coronavirus, while the age group with the most cases is now the 25-34 age group.
Another 219 cases were announced this evening bringing the total number to 1,125 since the crisis began.
The HSE has been able to identify 37 clusters across the country.
Every county in the country has a confirmed case.
According to the data released by the Department of Health regarding 836 cases, the following counties have been affected:
Dublin has the highest number of cases with 471. Next is Cork on 104, while Galway was 33 and Kildare has 23.
Age profile
The age bracket which has seen the most cases is the 25-34 one, with 166 cases which is one case more than the 35-44 age bracket (165). The 45-54 group accounts for 158 cases.
There have been 139 cases for those aged over 65.

The stats have also shown that 208 cases of coronavirus were contracted by those working in healthcare.
There is currently a 0.7% fatality rate in Ireland from the illness.

My kids love the show so hence I see it every week – Lotti was undoubtedly a great dancer but call me a cynic if you like – the full front page promo by RTE couldn’t have harmed her cause at all. Some shower running Rte and promoting their own for the summer season .. watch for a new tv show featuring ms Ryan …..

A professionally trained dancer wins a competition for amatuers. Ryan was trained in New York and owned her own dance studio in Dublin for a time, before RTE came calling.
This show highlights everything that is wrong with RTE. That place needs to be dissolved in its entirety.

RTE of course, don’t see anything wrong with pitting a pro against amateurs. Neither obviously did the people watching the show.
Fair play is obviously not an RTE trait nor is it a trait of those who watch RTE.

@Tomas: Are you suggesting we shouldn’t be watching TV at all or that we should only watch COVID-19 news?? It’s exactly at times like this that people need harmless distractions. It’s an extremely popular show and I for one was delighted to have a couple of hours to escape from the constant bad news. Currently watching a home renovation show..is that ok or should I switch over to something more depressing??

Why did RTE feel the need to put a pro dancers against absolute amateurs, and why did Ryan, knowing her unfair advantage, feel the need to compete with amateurs.
Delighted to see that the judges and public were singing from the same hymn sheet. A show comparable with the best of world standards. Well done to RTE and all involved.
