    Triple crown in racing normally refers to US racing,Kentucky derby the Preakness and the Belmont stakes. The British “triple crown” is the 2000 guineas the derby and the leger, all races for colts 1000 guineas is for fillies. But hey it’s the journal why am I surprised

    @James O Lone: loads of countries have their own triple crowns for racing, that is why British is in the question. You are too ignorant to realise that the journal are correct.

    @James O Lone: by the way, fillies can run in all the races you mentioned. Colts can’t run in Oaks or 1000, but fillies can run in all the classics.

    @Aaron Jones: TV series rather than a film but one of the best. I almost gave up as the first few episodes are slow but friends encouraged me to stick with it and boy! was I glad I did! There is a later spin-off series called “Better Call Saul” which is pretty much just as good.
