What’s the point in getting vaccinated if you still have to adhere to the same restrictions as those who don’t vaccinate.
@BatMon: because the vaccines are only about 80% efficient. Example 5000000 people vaccinated = 1000000 still going to get covid. Of which 30000 will die..!
@BatMon: Because the vaccines are only about 80% effective. Example 5,000,000 people get vaccine = 1,000,000 still get Covid, of which 30000 will die..! So still need to follow guidelines until heard immunity. Even then, Covid will be a threat for years to come…

@BatMon: I’m vaccinated (luckily for me) but no one else I know has been vaccinated. I adhere to the restrictions to keep my family safe. It hasn’t been proven to date that I can’t still pass on covid to others. And aside from that, it’s not 100% efficacy.
I think we need to be grateful to the scientists that got these vaccines to the market. And also grateful that slowly people are getting vaccinated. It’s not physically or logistically possibly to vaccinate the whole country at the one time. However the priority groups like frontline workers and the elderly are starting to receive their vaccinations. My granny got hers on Friday. Happy days :-)
