Gardaí call off search for missing woman after body discovered

A woman had been missing from her home in Carlow.

GARDAÍ HAVE CALLED off a search for a missing woman after the discovery of a body.

Betty Nolan, 60, was missing from her home in Carlow since around 3pm yesterday afternoon.

A body was discovered today and the search has now been stood down.

Gardaí said that they would like to thank the public for their assistance.
