Quiz: Can you match these James Bond song lyrics to the correct film?

“When you were young and your heart was an open book…”

A LONG BANK Holiday weekend will more often that not feature at least one James Bond film on the TV.

It’s still going to be a while before we see Daniel Craig’s latest outing as 007 but, in the meantime, there’s always this quiz about old Bond theme tunes.

This quiz asks you to match the lyric to the correct film.

Best of luck.

I’m a gardener and I absolutely adore my work. Obviously I can’t work from home. But being out in that fresh air every day and getting out of the house beats everything. To those that work from home enjoy it but get out as much as you can. There’s more to life than sitting at home at a computer.

For me it’s having to go to work. As a factory worker I can’t bring my work home, it’s hands on. A production line needs a consistent feed of materials so it’s at the factory it has to be. This new way of working (working from home) for others must be great. Get up when you want, make a coffee, have several tea breaks during the day and space your work out as you please. A plus for us factory workers is definitely a decline in traffic. I know a lot of you might not be to happy working from home, but on the other hand a huge amount love it and don’t want to be heading back into the dreadful traffic, the late nights home because of gridlock. Maybe this is the new normal.

I enjoy working from home. No commute, can walk the kids to school, and I’m more productive thanks to less stress being stuck in traffic, a good 3 hours saved per day.

I enjoy working from home. It is not like it to be exclusive. I miss meeting with my team and the banter of the office. A flexible 60/40 situation I think is where my employer is going to pitch this at after Covid. And I think that’s great. I also think the government need to look at the tax side of things. On tax saver tickets. It’s not worth it if you only do 2/3 days a week. In my team we have several European nationals. I think ad advantage of being European should be the ability to work from home in another European country for a number of weeks a year without the issue is tax coming into it.

Working from home will cut down on the number of sick days dramatically in the long term.

@rockmast: agree I worked all week from home with a throat infection, I would definitely have been out sick for 5 days if I had to attend the office.

Covid is going nowhere for the next few years, we should have been working this way decades ago…

Perhaps a reduction in employer’s PRSI for rural staff working remotely might discourage outsourcing. Similarly some kind of tax incentive for conversion from office to apartments/retail in cities might ease pressure on housing.

Work from home 4 days per week with maybe one day in the office to interact with your colleagues. There you have the best of both worlds!

Tax: For those office workers who will have no choice but to work from home (we are seeing office space being now used to reduce costs by large companies), the government will have to review the tax system for all the additional costs associated with same. The savings on commuting for the individual is not enough. People are going to have to invest in home offices/spaces for their sanity, not to mention ongoing hidden costs. Current tax arrangement is useless.

I’m in security so have been working throughout the pandemic. I don’t see my job charging much unless there’s an investment in remote CCTV but someone will still have to open/lock up and check for leaks etc overnight. If it’s done remotely how fast could the responses be to something.
Some security jobs can and do work with remote monitoring and a mobile patrol unit but I don’t think the site I’m on would.
