A 999 CALL supposedly made by a three-year-old girl whose mother had collapsed was a hoax, it is being reported this evening.
West Yorkshire Police had appealed earlier today for assistance in locating a three-year-old girl and her mother after a child made an emergency call yesterday morning saying that her mother had collapsed.
Sky News now reports that police have spoken to two 10-year-old girls in relation to the call.
In the 999 call, a girl said that her mother was lying on the kitchen floor in their home.
“My mummy’s fallen over,” a girl told the 999 dispatcher, explaining that she wasn’t able to speak on the phone. The child said that her mother wasn’t awake and that no one else was in the house. She also said that the door to their house was locked and she couldn’t get out.
The girl said her name was ‘Ellie’, and said they lived at number 23 somewhere in Leeds. “I can’t remember” the street name, she said in the call, but added that her mother’s name is Stacey Hall.
The emergency call was made shortly before 11am on Monday. One of the difficulties in tracing the call was that the phone number used to make the call did not show up for the operator during the call.

Taxed on income. DIRT tax on my savings. Current deposit accounts earn about 1% after tax. What’s the point in tying money up for that little?
The ssia paid off my mortgage and it was great, but the decrease of the post office deposit rates as lobbied by our, yeah really our beloved banks have reduced the incentive to save, deffo use tax allowance on AVC’s tho.
What I find amusing is the medja talking heads and most politicians seem to hate people saving. Then the gov taxes the life out of it, the ECB and banks rip off savers with phantom interest rates and that french commie Lagrade wont be happy until everyone’s savings are confiscated.
