Poll: Would you walk out of a pub or restaurant if they didn't check your Covid cert on entry?

Covid-19 Digital Certificates will still be required for indoor hospitality from tomorrow.

COVID-19 DIGITAL CERTIFICATES will continue to be required for indoor hospitality and events from tomorrow.

The government is now advising that if you are in a place where guidelines are not being followed and you don’t feel safe to take your business elsewhere.

When asked on RTÉ’s Prime Time on Wednesday what the government will do about businesses that are not asking customers for their certificates, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said there will be an increase of enforcement.

“The message I’d send out to industry here is that we are in a precarious position again, we’re not out the gap, this isn’t over, please help us to enforce this measure because that’s how you will stay open,” he said.

“I’d also say to people, as well, if you’re going into a premises and somebody doesn’t ask you for your vaccine pass, ask them why not.”

So, today we want to know… Would you walk out of a pub or restaurant if they didn’t check your Covid cert on entry?

I said this about a week ago when Fitzgerald came out claiming the report vindicated him – this is the start of getting Shatter back in the front row (Enda needs the numbers)

First she “vindicates” him, now he comes out with this tirade.

Next step will be re-including him in the cabinet when Enda’s reshuffle happens

    Mark my words.

Ian how long may this Lady last if she gestured after this clown with a crumb of support. Shatter hit the shitter and Fine Gael are covered in his rotten stench, people will look at the massive massive wave of crime, murder on Shatter watch. He shut down police stations and reduced the force. The young boy who was shot in the neck last weekend was aged 6 Fine Gael are to blame. Less police means less reduction in criminal activity. Shatter stench will engulf Fine Gael for decades, he is not a people person and clearly unsuitable for a ministerial position.

The Garda stations that were closed were open for only a few hours a week anyway. Burglars simply struck when the stations were closed anyway. Furthermore, the shooting of the six-year-old boy is unrelated to the closures. Nobody predicted that an attempted murder would take place.

Ciaran a cut in crime prevention is a raise in criminal activity. This is at the pen stroke held in Shatter hands that he signed off on. Police resources are constantly required to keep the laws of the Irish constitution and protect the public from criminal. Shatter reduced that.

    Dear Mr Shatter,
Your words of contention that Mr Guiren did not follow fair procedures and balance of without fear or favour conclusion is an arrogance coming from the man who was Minister writing back to the Stardust Families solicitor stating that the Coffey report which you know was changed by the Civil servants in you recent office, his conclusion drawn stand, yet it was not his conclusions but those of the civil servants working in your past office.

How dare you and who do you think you are, 48 dead people had a greater grapple for feeling hard done by while you were in Office as a minister of Justice than you had with Sean Guiren report. Why not do exactly just what you told these families solicitor to Relay back to them ;” get over it and forget the injustice that was done”.

You are very self centred and contrite to your own importance while ignoring others. The best thing you done was resign, good riddance.

In December 2013 a journalist from the Sun newspaper and the Journal.ie and the families gave Shatter proof this fire originated inthe roof space to which shatter replied to their solicitor, ” I see no reason to change from the Coffey conclusion” Coffey conclusion recommened an inquiry to correct the public record. The Minister of Justice is bound in hid remit to vindicate and validate the right to life of a victim of an unlawful killing. Shatter was found by Guiren in paragraph 66: 20 to have failed in this remit of his office.

Kenny is weak and clearly owes Shatter something (given how he tried pretty much anything to keep him in place the first time). Within the next few weeks he’ll be put back into a ministry seeing as Hogan (and possibly Gilmore) are likely off to Europe and we’ll all be expected to move on.

We’ve already seen FG have no problem readmitting “deserters” or “troublemakers” once enough time has past in order to keep the numbers up, but I must admit starting this process with Shatter only a few weeks later shows some neck – even for them!

Shatter was a respondent in the McGuire and Adara supreme court case, where he indulged in an Oirechtas inquiry into an unlawful killing. The Supreme court told him no as it was murder and an inquiry of this type is unsuitable to validate and vindicate the right to life. Mr Shatter knew these cases were serious and as minister of Justice he failed to act. The record is he done nothing , he resigned because he was found to have done nothing. He now cannot believe with his big head that nobody has asked him ” ah Alan come back” this is why he claims this junk. The treatment he gave to others is not for him.

You’re a public figure elected by the people of Ireland.
Consider yourself constantly on trial because we are your boss.

The poor man. The first thing we need to do is set up a committee to investigate the alleged allegations.
Then there should be a commission into its findings.

Alan Shatter was a victim of the latent anti-semitism that is still too prevalent in Irish society, particularly among the fascist xenophobes. He was badly served by his civil servants and the left-wing media. Because he has never been afraid to take on vested interests, reactionaries, criminals and terrorists he made some powerful enemies amongst those who had reason to fear him. But in due course he will be recognised as an effective, reforming, honest and ethical Minister for Justice.

Who appointed the Barrister who prepared the report that led to the dismissal of Minister Shatter?

    Let’s be told the truth?
