The day of flash sales – when retailers slash prices – took place on Friday last.
Experts predicted that Irish shoppers spent €25k a minute during the sale.

I went to a local shop and bought milk, yoghurt and a sliced pan. Essentials.

No , saving 11k for my solar panels – only 5 years to go, unless my 08 car breaks down , then i will have to save 20k for a washing machine instead of buying a 09 car for 1k.

Was looking at one or two items but the Black Friday price was the same as “previously sold for” prices. Will wait til January sales and compare.

I was quite disappointed that there was no discount for the protein powder that I wanted to buy, instead they even increased the price by 3 euros.
@Alex: kinetica have 20 % off theirs (I guess its probably not the brand you use!)

@ed w: Unfortunately I don’t use that brand, I’m using Dymatize, that’s the only one that I tried so far does not make me windy.
@Alex: go for whey isolate. Normal whey makes you windy and makes stool liquid especially if you have lactose intolerance.

More people dig cyber Monday here IMO. Black Friday is a poor import that doesn’t justify its existence here.
I did keep Lidl out of the red by buying milk, toilet rolls, and marmalade. Savefd myself €1.86 woth the app..
