GARDAÍ IN KERRY have said they are investigating “all the circumstances” around the discovery of a body earlier today.
The body of a man was discovered in a vehicle in Abbeydorney, Co Kerry this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene his body was removed from the scene to the mortuary at Kerry University Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
The scene has been preserved, pending an examination from the Garda Technical Bureau.
“Investigations are ongoing,” a garda spokesperson added.

A family member was proscribed steroids as part of his chemo plan . The hospital gave him 3 times the standard dose which he took for a week. I have never seen anyone in such distress or trauma . If you’re an assh*le before you go on the juice, you’ll be a bigger assh*le after you start taking steroids. You don’t magically become angry when you’re on steroids, but you become more emotional and your emotions may seem dramatic than before, so of you have anger problems before, then you’re anger could become worse, but if you don’t then you should be alright mental-wise. The health risks of taking roids are real though, and anyone thinking of going on the juice definitely needs to research their stuff and weight it up.
Good to see someone comment on something they seem to have knowledge on and not the usual clown banging in about how steroids turn you into an angry,aggressive monster .as the man said anyone thinking of doing steroids do your homework and don’t just listen to the pumped up guy swanning around in his vest in the middle of winter .
People have this misconception about steroid users that they’re all like the hulk. While some of them may look like them, the vast majority are calm, nice people who take them because of the added performance they give you. There are crazy ‘gains’ to be made on gear but as I said before, they take a massive toll on your body. You should never think about ‘roids until you’ve been lifting for at least 5 years and even then you don’t need them. You can look great without them, but if you’re goal is to be an IFBB pro then go ahead.
My family member wasn’t and isn’t an an A$$hole. He is a very sick man who was completely over proscribed steroids which had an extremely negative affect on him. This wasn’t too bulk up in the gym or a vanity project . Administered correctly I know they have an important part to play however he was given a near toxic dose . Red arrow all the way , I amnt being alarmist here I witnessed someone completely spinning out on them and I will never forget it. Please be careful of steroids.
Well yeah if he was given a ‘near toxic dose’ then he doesn’t need to have prior anger issues for ‘roid rage’ to affect him. Sorry to offend you if I did, but the fact is, a normal cycle of steroids will not cause you to be angry if you don’t already have this problem. A toxic dose of anything will cause crazy things to happen, if I took 2 packs of nurofen and died, would that mean anyone who takes a nurofen tablet will die? No, so don’t bad mouth something on the basis of an extreme case that was your relative’s treatment.
Hi Derek I am not bad mouthing steroids , reread my post and I say that administered correctly they have a place . Yes they terrify me and I was honest enough to qualify my response and explain why they terrify me so much. I agree wholehearted with you that anything on the inside can be magnified through the consumption of alcohol, drugs whether proscribed or not. Derek’s comment is spot on. Anabolic steroids make more of what you are. If you are an arse before them, you’re an even bigger arse afterwards. Often the acts of aggression committed by anabolic steroid users are actually a result of head injuries and trauma – WWE wrestler Chris Benoit is a famous example.
