A JUDGE HAS found there is sufficient evidence for a man once briefly married to Britney Spears to go on trial for stalking.
After a two-hour preliminary hearing, Ventura County Judge David Worley ruled that 40-year-old Jason Allen Alexander should be held to answer on the charge, along with misdemeanor counts of trespassing, vandalism and battery, court records showed.
Not guilty pleas to all the charges were entered by an attorney for Alexander, who did not attend and remains imprisoned.
Spears married longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari at her home in Thousand Oaks, California on 9 June in front of several dozen guests including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Madonna.
Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears to whom she was married for less than three days in 2004, appeared uninvited at the house before the ceremony, livestreaming his raid on Instagram.
Richard Eubler, a since-fired security guard for Spears, testified at Monday’s hearing that Alexander got inside her house and up to the locked door of Spears’ bedroom while she was inside, according to multiple media reports.
The ex-guard said Alexander had also tried to enter the property in the days before the wedding.
Alexander’s lawyer, Sandra Bisignani, argued there was no evidence he had any intention of harming Spears.

The properties that have been repeatedly flooded since 1995 should be purchased at fair price by Co Co and people relocated . They can be added to Council Housing stock and used when not flooded , so it’s not a totally dead investment for the tax payer

Honestly clowns that are talking about dredging the Shannon, haven’t a clue what they are talking about. It is not possible to dredge by ship as there is no way to get one up past bridges and weirs. A digger is like a child at the beach digging a sandcastles moate. Move family to higher ground.
There is obviously more water storage needed upstream with another Shannon Hydro electric scheme the most productive way to pay for the dams.
Its a pleasant change to paying for water!
It’s a much more logical idea to put a number of R,B 35′s on each side of the river next Summer when the water levels are normal and remove the obstructions, It will never cure all the flooding but it will greatly reduce it. It always appears to be easier to spend the money on engineering reports and planning procedures than on practical flood relief!
I assumed that’s why people pay insurance premiums.
And how much will the Red Cross take from these emergency funds? After reading what they stole from the People of Haiti I would never support the Red Cross again!
