I hope the lady makes a full recovery. She’ll be out of full health for a long time. I hope there’s nothing life changing.

Let us all encourage all those around us that we have any influence on to slow down and consider conditions and roads we’re on. Speed limits shouldn’t be a target on a wet, winding road. Similarly, on urban roads the number of drivers heavy on the accelerator only to jam on the brakes a few seconds later is unreal.

@Paul Fagan: hope she makes a full recovery. We don’t know the circumstances around this terrible accident.
In general the aggressive behavior and lack of road manners as well as speed plays a part in road accidents. Our behavior needs to change if thus carnage us to stop.

The amount of extra fuel those people referred to above have to buy with the heavy use of the pedals to speed and then break does not seem to be enough of a deterrent fir them so more speed checks are needed.
