Perfect for commuters: Check out these three-bedroom homes in Co Wicklow

Register your interest now for three-bedroom terraced homes at Ushers Glen.

THERE’S NOTHING QUITE like driving out of Dublin city into County Wicklow and feeling the fresh air on your face as you head into the hills.

For those who make Wicklow their home, that access to both nature and the city’s capital is a permanent perk.

If you’ve ever considered living in Co Wicklow, you’ll be interested to hear about Ushers Glen, a new Glenveagh development coming soon to Ashford, Co Wicklow.

Location is everything when it comes to finding your new home, and Ashford offers a great opportunity for commuters who want to maintain access to Dublin city. Ashford is positioned just off the main M11 motorway, which links the area with the M50 into the city centre. Motorists can reach the M50 in under 20 minutes, and Wicklow Town in less than 12 minutes.

For those hoping to avail of public transport, there is a direct regular bus route into the city or fast and frequent DART rail service at nearby Greystones. For those with work or family in Wexford, it’s about an hour’s drive.

Mount Usher Gardens are perfect for a stroll on a nice day, and there are several cafes perfect for lunch including Avoca and The Bakery. Local shops like Pixie & Linus, which sells children’s clothing, or Strawbridge, a local interiors institution, make for great browsing or picking up a gift.

Of course, Glendalough is on your doorstep, offering countless opportunities for walking cycling, and hiking.

Ushers Glen, Ashford’s newest development, will have a wide range of homes on offer, including two, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and terraced homes.

I’d advise people to be very careful about what you comment about this article….wouldn’t want it to be used as an example of how politicians are being given a hard time online.

What next – somebody using Fidelma Healy Eames or Lorraine Higgins’ photos to attract a man on Tinder, or worse?

Who could forget the time hackers attacked Fianna Fail TD Micheal McGrath. They hacked his Facebook page so they could ‘like ‘Milf of the Day’. Those ‘hackers’ eh??
