Two men are currently detained at Irishtown Garda Station.

LAST UPDATE | 27 Nov 2022

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested following a robbery at a pharmacy in Donnybrook, Dublin yesterday.

Shortly after 2pm, gardaí were alerted after two men brandishing screwdrivers entered a pharmacy in the Donnybrook area and threatened staff.

They fled from the scene on foot after taking a sum of cash, a phone and medication from the store.

In a follow up operation, detectives from the Donnybrook District carried out a search and arrest operation in the Clonskeagh area and arrested two men aged in their 40s.

Quantities of medication were also recovered.

I remember many years ago hearing about this guy going to rob a chemist, first he called them & told them he was calling from the local police station & they were watching out for a guy who’s been robbing chemist, so he told them to give him whatever he asked for & they would catch him when he left the chemist, needless to say he walked away very happy LOL

Yet another empty suspended sentence on the way. Why do the cops even bother anymore? Maybe some of them don’t?

Wonder was it same two that hijacked a car and robbed a pedestrian on Booterstown Ave the other day. Out on their own bail of €100.

I’d bet money OxyContin was stolen. I was in hospital for a week last month. The Doctors were pushing me to take OxyContin for pain relief. I kept on refusing it, they kept on pushing it.
