We celebrate with our young children by having a special dinner at home , we all get dressed up, light candles on the table and give each other cards or pictures, they love it
Another excuse to rip off people with overpriced tat and inflated restaurant prices for the occasion.

We’ve been married such a long time now, we would jokingly acknowledge it, but that’s about it. It’s really for teenagers and newly together couples.

When we were dating, my wife and I once celebrated the day by going to a movie………..Die Hard (A Good Day to Die Hard). We had a ball.Thay date pretty much confirmed she was the one for me.
We’re celebrating now with a hotel booked for the night, but the 6 year old wouldn’t stay in his nanny’s so he’s here with us….. sure what can ya do?? :-)

I don’t ‘observe’ it but it’s rammed down our throats with the red pink hearts and ‘offers’ everywhere. Restaurants are packed and charge higher for the nights surrounding it. But we laugh and don’t book anything. But that said, we might go to the cinema or purchase groceries in advance just to stay home and cook something nice together. It’s the company for us. Atmosphere of restaurants and the likes are nice, but I’d rather ignore the pressure. It’s like Christmas or Easter with the companies cashing in commercially. Each to their own though! Enjoy :)

Started dating my now husband on Valentine’s Day so yes we celebrate it.
Not in the hallmark way since 2009 as iv been signal.
Bamboo Valentines card, big plushie pig teddy for delivery Monday to bring to the restaurant booked two weeks ago for Tuesday night. Roses and lily flowers with (free) chocolates to be delivered home on the day, ordered today.
The only regret is that she won’t be able to take the time off work to attend the Fever “Candlelight: Love on the Big Screen” event.
So yeah, we celebrate it. Perfect day to embarrass her!
