Irish woman missing in Australia

The 29-year-old woman was last seen leaving a bar in Melbourne in the early hours of this morning.

POLICE IN AUSTRALIA have said they are concerned for the safety of an Irish woman who went missing in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Jill Meagher was last seen leaving Bar Ettiquette in the Brunswick area of Melbourne at around 1.30am local time and was reported missing at around midday.

Police have been told the 29-year-old woman was out with work colleagues and left the venue with the intention of walking to her home which is just a five minute walk from the bar.

Detective Sergeant Steve Bull said police are concerned that the disappearance is out of character for the woman, and investigators are in the process of determining whether the circumstances are suspicious.

Bull said police have been reviewing CCTV footage but have not been able to find anything so far to indicate where she might have gone. He said they will be able to clarify more when businesses on the street she was last seen on open for business tomorrow and make their CCTV available.

The missing woman is described as being of a fair complexion, 165 cm tall, slim build, long curly black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue dress, black jacket, black patterned stockings and high heels when she was last seen.

Meagher, an employee at ABC radio in Melbourne, has lived in Australia for three years with her husband Tom, Nine News reported.

“We’ve checked with all the hospitals, but I think that someone has done something to her,” he told the Herald Sun. “I fear that because it’s not something she would do without contacting anybody.”

Meagher has set up a Facebook page about his wife’s disappearance and police in Melbourne are appealing for public assistance to help locate the woman.

Obscene Lobby Driven car tax on pre-2008 cars forcing people to buy new cars. Those who cannot afford new cars subsidising the annual road tax of the wealthy who can. A most regressive tax. Was not passed in the UK. Ireland a lobby ridden disgusting place to live – no equity. Bring your Brains to the Polling Booths.

Well the bullshit statistics from the high street say that most under 25′s and up to 30 are buying in the high street due to increasing numbers employed in the financial and insurance industry, the high street doesn’t show the online buying by the work in poor at middle class’s that wouldn’t pay those prices. It’s a two tier system, that the government are now dependent on the young living at home for their figures. The ESRI is not reflective to the population.

And I just bought a beautiful vintage sofa, which only comes to prove I spend a lot on what we’ve been talking in this article. If I were a keen driver, I’d probably spend a lot on my car as well. Take a look at the pros and cons of vintage furniture: http://www.hometalk.com/5463165/the-pros-and-cons-of-vintage-furniture and you will understand what I am talking about.
