it seems that more people are looking to create income by selling illicit substances, hence the greater number of arrests. this will only increase as society becomes less inclusive and people become ever more marginalised.

The cops are hauling it in these days . There seems to be a significant find every day now .
    Top work .
I can see a lot of these criminals bailing out of the country soon if they keep loosing their drugs to the Gardai .

They could be dealing with a lot more important issues than a non lethal drug. I know their doing their jobs, but in the grand scheme of things this was a minor bust(and completely over estimating the value too). Its a waste of resources…

All we ever hear about is how much cannabis is being found while its plain for anyone walking through the city centre to see that the heroin problem is massively out of control and people are being harrassed by junkies constantly. Why isn’t something being done about that?

The Gardai are afraid of those criminals so they go after the ones that are easier to deal with!
