QUIZ: Which character from Welcome to Wrexham are you?

Join Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds for season two, streaming exclusively on Disney+, as they try to bring underdogs Wrexham to the Premier League, rallying the entire Welsh town in the process.

ARE YOU READY to return to Wrexham?

Making headlines across the world for what is a story not even Hollywood could make up, the rise of Wrexham AFC following its takeover by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds has been nothing short of meteoric.

Thanks to Disney+, audiences are brought behind-the-scenes with the two stars of the screen as they attempt to bring the Welsh football club, which is the third-oldest in the United Kingdom, all the way up to the bright lights of Premier League football in season one of docuseries Welcome to Wrexham. The second season will be released weekly from September 13, and promises to follow in the footsteps of season one in terms of high drama and high emotions in what is absolutely unmissable TV.

More than just a typical sports drama, Welcome to Wrexham delves into the personal lives of both Rob and Ryan. Their constant humorous rapport provides some of the lighter moments of the show, including parodies of cooking shows and American sports shows.

It’s fascinating to see the everyday life of such huge movie and TV stars as they navigate brand obligations, meet with fans and now turn their hand to running a football club with an expectant fanbase. All in a day’s work!

Season one served as our introduction to iconic underdogs Wrexham and the surrounding town, where football is the be all and end all to most residents. We saw Ryan and Rob struggle to get to grips with the day-to-day running of a football club, as they found themselves a long, long way from the luxurious Hollywood Hills where Ryan (Deadpool) and Rob (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are more at home most days.

Season two will bring 14 more episodes of nerve-wracking and enthralling viewing, as we delve deeper into the journey and learn more about the residents of Wrexham, the beating heart of the show, as well as encounter a seemingly endless carousel of A-Listers making their way to Wrexham, with Will Ferrell, Blake Lively and David Beckham all cropping up across Welcome to Wrexham.

Perfect for lovers of an underdog story or those who jump from one high-tension docuseries to the next, you don’t have to follow sport at all to enjoy Welcome to Wrexham (in fact, you might enjoy it even more, as Rob and Ryan’s constant use of “soccer” instead of football still irks some viewers!).

With season two just around the corner, now is the perfect time to get involved in the madness of the Welsh town that has gone international and there’s no better way to do it than a quiz with a twist.

We already know all the celebrities that appear in Welcome to Wrexham, but we want to know where you fit into what will be one of television’s most-watched series this year. @Jimmy Pea: out in 3? If he does engage with the probation service and gets off the drugs it would be great. We can live in hope. The poor grandfather certainly is probably hoping that.

    @Jakie McLean:

    Drug use is not an excuse. People make their own choices to use drugs, and if it destroys their life and causes them to harm people, that’s on them.

    6 months is a joke.

    So often people assume that a family member would never steal from one’s own family. In cases of addiction and repeat offending there are no promises. We need to keep an eye on our seniors for their protection.
