The pay rate here is still too high, will they ever learn, 50 minutes on air, I have paid my TV licence and it does sicken me.

Don’t really listen to RTE unless I happen to be in someone else’s home or business and RTE just happen to have Éanna Ní Lamhna on, or a substantial Docuseries episode with a topic like ‘Women of Honour’ or defective Justice across EU like the French-Chinese Nuclear with the French Judicial System’s rape, torture and terrorisation of Trade Union Leader Maureen Kearney [La Syndicaliste - NOT broadcasting on RTE TV/Player], or a Political Panel that includes ALL Major Political Parties……..until it starts shouting down and strategically, incessantly & wholly *Politically* interrupting the Sinn Féin (or PBP or Socialist) Representative in order to censor 1 of the 3 main Parties and/or a voice for the voiceless, thus siding with/favouring the voice of the other 2 (an act of *Tax Funded* Obstruction of Democracy & Free Democratic Discourse, by the “Public Service” Broadcaster – a true and actual chilling effect on Democracy), thus intentionally frustrating and aggravating the listenership (not SF supporters. Just “listeners”. Joe Duffy is just as aggravating to TRY to listen to as well because he incessantly interrupts, talks-over and shouts down his own interviewees….and callers).

And equally, I would listen to a Political/Current Affairs panel………right up to the moment when the Politically Biased implementation of Gaslighting (another *actual* and accepted chilling effect on free and democratic discourse) begins with the usual wholly anti-Peace Process and anti-GFA rhetoric “…but IRA…” or “…oh the Balaklava is slipping now…” directed at contemporary Sinn Féin Representatives yet never directed at Fianna Fáil who gave the IRA the nod to commence the Border Bombings and thus, consequently, sustain a campaign of armed destabilisation inside ‘Occupied Ulster’.
The ‘Social Bond’ formed by consent through a vote for the GFA was a committment to Peace through *Political Process* – both sides of the border, in all aspects of life [Governance, PublicAdministration,Media]. That included accepting fully the Legitimacy of ALL Political Parties and their place on Public Broadcasters, their voice in public Political Discourse, their place on the Ballot, their Legitimacy in ALL Houses of Governance North, South, or East of the Border. ALL Parties, not just the DUP and UUP.

Anyone rowing against that, has been rowing against the ‘Social Bond’. And is therefore responsible for the breakdown in Social and Political cohesion in Society, and all consequential unfolding anarchy online and on the streets.

And all that was long, long, loooong before Sinn Féin started suing for Defamation. And rightly so – whether you support them or not. If legitimate, registered Media and legitimate, registered Political Parties were free to go around declaring another Party was populated with and provided protection for: Paedophiles and/or Drink & Drug Drivers and/or ‘Mexican Cartels’ and/or collaborated with Nazis and/or were sheltering members of Cambridge Analytica and/or were protecting London 7/7 attackers among their Elected Representatives – there would BE no more Democracy. There would only be total and utter Anarchy.

Oh wait….it is….anarchy….careening to “total and utter”.

Politics and Political-Social breakdown is like a slow turning juggernaut….until it hits the Black Ice of Populism. The consequences of FF, FG, Labour’s and RTE’s contempt for the Irish Public are manifest now, but the commencement of that contempt reaches right back to 2018, 2010, 2008 etcetera.

Indeed. There is now, total anarchy infesting the National Discourse, from external foreign interference via Social Media *by* Team Jorge [be it paid for by Loyalist TUV, British-run Irexit or "Reclaim" or "Reform", or internal Irish Parties losing relevance&in fear of losing Power like FG/FF] as a consequence of suppressing the largest most successful Party in the previous Election – love ‘em or loathe ‘em.

To be quite frank. Its a wonder Sinn Féin have not sued Fine Gael, in particular, for creating a “Hostile Work Environment” in Dáil Éireann itself.
I’m referring to the “.. Balaklava is slipping…” type of commentary, smug contempt for opposition, the absolute fact-void Gaslighting, the contempt for the Electorate as a whole not only SF voters – by dithering on phones, feigning reading documents, gawping around the room, WHOLE PARTY ABSENCE from Dáil during proceedings, blatantly and visably ignoring the Opposition Presentations, Representations, Speeches and Questions from all the Opposition (except “former Labour/FG) but in particular the *Leader*/*Leading Majority Party* of the Opposition.
Total and utter contempt for the Electorate.
And obnoxious hostility towards and contempt for the ***non-American*** Irish Parliamentary System wherein the Opposition is visably Respected before the eyes and ears of the Electorate.

I mean where has the craic gone? The Banter? The *audible* rowdy jostling from the entire Opposition (better decorum is expected of the Sitting Government!) – all totally censored by this turning off of microphones nonsense. Oddly, even the bledy Brits don’t do that in their Parliament. The Opposition are free to rowse a rowdy rabble of dissenting boos or assenting cheers or an ambiguous chorus of jeers.

The constructs of the Republic – Free and/or unbiased Press, Independent Judiciary, a body Politic free of Hostility and Foreign Interference or Immitation – have been well and truly eroded by apathy and active subversive contempt of those core bodies by those core bodies (probably because every last one of them is high one cocaine, apparently! Obviously you cant do an Investigative Journalism piece based on swabbing surfaces in Government Buildings for Cocaine, and send it off to a Lab, if YOU – the “journalist” are the source of cocaine contamination of all the samples. Equally, as a cocaine addled “journalist” none of you definitely could have independently investigated “Gang Grooming” of children, much less criticised the Children’s Referendum for failing to include Legislation prohibiting all forms of “Grooming” of children – not just by Paedos, but by Gangs – since those children were the mules supplying you yeer cocaine deliveries to RTE. And all the other premises for Newspaper, Radio etcetera)
