OVER €8 MILLION will be invested into the opening of a Dublin R&D facility for the company Munich Re.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, announced today that the Automation Solutions division of Munich Re, which is one of the largest reinsurers in the world, is to establish a strategic R&D facility in Dublin.
The division currently employs 47 people in Ireland and the new project involves the creation of up to 17 additional highly-skilled new positions as well as the planned investment of over €8 million.
The Irish government, through IDA Ireland, has worked closely with the company on this move.
Investing and expanding
Established in Dublin in 1986, Munich Re’s Automation Solutions division (formerly Allfinanz) is the world’s leading provider of automated underwriting solutions to life insurers.
The R&D team will focus on complex data mining and statistical analysis techniques that will enable Munich Re’s Automation Solutions to more accurately assess underwriting risk across a range of insurance classes.

Barry O’Leary, CEO of IDA Ireland, said that financial services has been identified as a key growth area for Ireland’s economy and that this move will enhance Ireland’s profile as a “global investment hub”.

The New York Times is a paper which has colluded with the US Government numerous times in oder to appease it. They have previously withheld knowledge from the public on drone strikes at the request of the US Government. While objectivity can never be truly attained in newspapers it should be strived for.

Writing long articles criticising the whistleblowers and then defending his right to keep his sources secret. His sources are no different to the whistleblowers. The standards and hypocrisy of some journalists is nauseating.
And the hypocrisy of the CIA?
While I don’t trust NYT generally, I’d certainly defend their right to resist a request (/threat) from the shameful, clandestine and murdurous CIA, which goes against their constitutionally enshrined journalistic privilege.

The NY Times is an anti-Irish news paper
It is a well known organisation,with very very dodgy people working for it.The point I am making is that regardless of their activities exposing them via a secret source that could be an agent of a foreign agency engaged in a counter espionage mission. The journalist has neither the training or the expertise to handle the information via a public forum…the media. Obscure ,obfuscate and distort information in a logical and rational way is what counter intelligence does to obtain it’s goals.
