1. #TROIKA: The head of the IMF’s mission to Ireland has warned that European leaders need to deliver on their promises to break the link between banking and sovereign debts or else risk jeopardising Ireland’s scheduled return to the bond markets.
Separately Michael Noonan has confirmed that the Troika’s eighth review of Ireland’s progress on the bailout conditions was successful, and said he is confident that Ireland will not need a second bailout when it exits the programme at the end of 2013.
2. #DISABILITY: The government is taking legal advice after the Ombudsman declared that the current upper age limit placed on the mobility allowance is illegal.
3. #INVESTIGATION: Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl by a serving Garda based in a small town in Galway.
4. #CORRUPTION: Ireland is not doing enough to tackle corruption in local government, a new report has found. The study praised recent moves to increase transparency in political party funding but said many proposals to tackle corruption put forward three years ago have still not been implemented.
#SAORVIEW: RTÉ handled more than 2,600 calls yesterday from people who were concerned about the switchover from analogue to digital TV.

I don’t think that it’s an increase in assaults, it’s an increase in of reporting of them.
I need to get my eyes tested. For a while all I could see was “Imfamous Mission” under Troika. Going back to the Carry On films.
