A STATUS YELLOW rain warning has been issued for counties Dublin and Wicklow and is due to come into effect from midday and will remain in place until 8pm.
Met Éireann has issued the warning ahead of heavy rainfall forecast along the east coast tomorrow. The forecaster said there is a chance of flooding and travel delays.
The country is already getting plenty of rain today after some nice weather recently.
At a national level, tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain in Ulster, Leinster and north Connacht to be gin with.
The rain will extend to all areas through the day, the forecaster said, although things will dry up in north Ulster later in the evening.
Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees are expected with moderate to fresh northerly winds, which will become strong and gusty near the east coast towards evening.

Having said that, isn’t border security about stopping what gets into a country? Tariffs are sometimes seen as a way of addressing a trade imbalance not border security.

It would appear that the IDF and Hamas have both potentially breached multiple articles of the Geneva convention, with Hamas triggering the chain of events and the IDF responding.
However, the Irish government, instead of attempting to be an honest broker, has gone in totally against Israel and at the same time, gone out of its way to establish relations with the Hamas terrorist regime in Gaza.
If we are to keep to our sanctimonious principle, Ireland must now go the whole way and ban trade with Amerca also as they provide the arms to Israel.

@Anthony Curran: Stop spewing economic nonsense. The idea that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer is a myth. The rich have gotten 180% richer since 1980, which is great, but the poor have also gotten 40% richer too. The real quote that you should be saying is that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting richer too. Also, I’m not really a fan of Trump (I don’t agree with him on tariffs, reducing aid to Ukraine and capping credit card interest rates) but having a recession isn’t necessarily a bad thing if Trump was to hypothetically cause one. They help to keep inflation in check and cleanse the country of bad businesses. They make sure that the economy is functioning correctly and that excesses in government welfare policies can be cut back.
