POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland who are investigating the 1989 murder of missing teenager Caroline Graham in Portadown have appealed to the person who sent them a map of the area to contact them.
The PSNI say they need to clarify details with regards to the map and have assured the person who sent it that they will be dealt with in a “absolute confidence” if they come forward.
Caroline, 19, was living with her boyfriend in Hanover Street in Portadown when she went missing in April 1989. Originally from Newry, she had been living in Portadown for around two years when she disappeared.
Nobody was ever charged in connection with her disappearance but the case was reopened earlier this year after new information emerged.
Since then police have been conducting a series of searches on waste ground and in premises in the Carleton Street area in recent weeks but search activity is currently suspended.
“We are grateful to this person for providing information but we need to clarify some details,” the officer leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Gary Crawford, said.
“I can assure the person who took the trouble to send us the map that we will deal with them and their information in absolute confidence.”

Alan these pylons wouldn’t have been moved if it wasn’t for the likes of Microsoft and Google funding the project. They did not move these because of the public outcry that’s for sure.
These pylons are being moved because they’re looking to put in a few thousand homes as part of the Clonburris SDZ. If you think traffic is bad now wait until that land is developed.

I would be more concerned about those dodgy pedestrian crossings in adamstown. Accident waiting to happen, especially as you head towards schools.
You should see the fields beside Labre Park in Dublin. 5km from the city centre. This is not an affluent area so the pylons remain.
