Gardaí appeal for help in finding missing woman

Christina Morrissey (30) went missing from her home in Callan, Co Kilkenny over a month ago.

CHRISTINA MORRISSEY WAS last seen at her home in Callan, Co Kilkenny on Tuesday, 16 October 2012.

Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the 30-year-old’s whereabouts.

She is described as 5 feet 6 inches in height, of average build, with brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen she was wearing navy jeans, a red hooded top, grey running shoes and a blue rucksack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Callan Garda Station on 056-7725232, or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

    not sure.. but i seen it on trace irelands missing people’s facebook page yesterday, this lady has children at home. hope she is back with them soon, safe and well.

    it was sent out a month ago, hope she is found soon, wasn’t sure if she was back or not, lovely girl. trace missing persons had it on Facebook anyway don’t know about other media tho :(

    God love her family-just don’t recognise this country anymore-everything changing,people going missing nearly weekly been the biggest change. Hope she’s ok and comes home safe

    @red ed. linking this article with this story could be read as an implication that he has something to do with her disappearance. Not entirely sure that’s fair. Or appropriate.
    Hope this lady is found safe and well.
