Third arrest in fatal Rialto stabbing

The two males who were arrested yesterday evening remain in Garda custody.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE stabbing incident in Rialto yesterday morning in which one man was killed and another was seriously injured have arrested a female in her 40s.

The arrest took place at approximately 1pm this afternoon in the Dublin area.

She is being detained in Pearse Street Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Two males in their teens who were arrested yesterday in connection with the incident remain in custody in Kevin Street Garda station.

Kikmainham Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to contact Kilmainham Garda station 01 666 9700, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

    I think your referring to the fine work done by The Gardai Rory……Years ago if there was trouble out and about, people used there fists to have a scrap, a few bloody noses, black eyes, and a bit of verbal, and that was it….Now it’s knives, guns, or whatever lethal weapon they can get there hands on…

    Those apts are being rented by students who don’t realise how dangerous this area is…..on the surface it has all the facilities but at night it becomes ‘heroin central’ and even the taxis won’t go there!! That unfortunate boy paid the ultimate price. RIP

    And now they’ve all been let go without charge. But at least the pigs were able to catch people with weed in the south. Oink, oink!
