Just goes to show that the Garda don’t just forget a case.
Well done to the Garda and hope it brings closure to the family.

The problem the guards have is that they are, along with everything else in this country, under resourced and overpopulated with staff stuck under a system of bureaucratic time wasting so fair play to them for seeing this through, you can be sure they will solve a few more but they don’t have the resources to catch the major players in gangland unfortunately.

Spot on and In fairness to them Johnny they really are doing a great job with their limited resorces.
Hopefully somebody sees sense and frees up some resorces.

Nearly all of the real criminals in this country the guards have caught numerous times but our do-gooder system just keeps releasing the filth back onto the streets for the guards to start all over again.

It must be the most disheartening part of the job.
I’m sure there are exceptions but if someone is caught red handed being involved in serious crime and gets off within hours to carry on his/her chosen carreer is a kick in the teeth.
Don’t get me wrong,I don’t agree with quite a few of the laws or the enforcement but that’s for another day.
    Again I say “well done”.

If the people ran the country they wouldn’t get back on the streets so easy.
