GARDAÍ IN FINGLAS are at the scene of a serious road collision on the North Road in Finglas, Dublin.
In crash took place inbound at the pedestrian lights at the the junction of Charlestown Way and North Road.
A woman involved in the collision has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Gardaí are advising motorists to use alternative routes and diversions are in place.
AA Roadwatch has reported delays from the M50 Interchange.

But these two issues are interlinked because racism is a contributor in both. Before the issue of racism can be addressed the hegemonic group in their society (white people) have to acknowledge its prevalence and then help to confront it.

However there’s ample evidence of racism in those continents too from both America and Europe.
European colonialism was brutal to the indigenous populations of Africa exploiting, killing and subjugating them in the pursuit of imperial supremacy. The effects of it are still felt today.
In Western Asia the United States and its allies illegally invaded another country and killed thousands in the process. The United States also supports the apartheid state in the region which just last year killed over 2000 Palestinians. More instances of racism.
As for Latin America, the United States was involved in that region for decades trying to control and manipulate it, most notably Cuba and attempted to overthrow the Castro government but was defeated and humiliated. They then resorted to imposing a vicious blockade, a form of economic warfare on Cuba which had disastrous consequences for its people.
So yes, the state of America hasn’t only been responsible for racism on its own shores, but across the globe. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

Your logic is twisted though, the fact black people account for such a small portion of the population yet are the ones most commonly abused because of their race actually is an indictment of America. You also have to recognise the data isn’t entirely accurate, hate-crime is notorious for being under-reported because of the distrust African Americans rightly have with law enforcement.
I don’t condone anti-white racism but I also don’t try and make the false equivalence to racism against African Americans which is institutional and ingrained in American society since its inception. Most of the wealth in America is concentrated quite disproportionately in the hands of white people, even white people today who had no influence on the racism of their forebears have been beneficiaries of it.

Did you see the interview with the leader of that anti-Islam event and the specialist from the NSA. The organiser basically admitted that he wanted to do it because he believed 100% that ALL Arabs were terrorists, then admitted that his own actions as a U.S. soldier in Iraq had been in support of a terrorist government (shows the kind of logic these guys have). When the NSA specialist pointed out that actions such as the proposed anti-Islam event actually serve only to create more pro-ISIS/Anti-US individuals, again the organiser agreed and said that that’s exactly what he wanted. He actually said that he wanted to play into ISIS’s hands. Keep using all the cherry-picked isolated incidents and statistics you want, the simple fact is that people like the TERRORIST who committed the atrocity at this church, and the leader of that anti-Islam rally are the real ones perpetuating racism, and encouraging violence on their own soil.

Americas biggest problem is its the only developed country with a private prison system that must be kept at certain occupancy levels at all times and its the blacks who make up the majority of these inmates for often paltry crimes which would be no more than a fine over here. Anthony, there was a study done during Bush 43 about domestic threats to peace that was suppressed by the Republicans, because most of the data was found to link to religious fundamentalist and white supremacist groups. It was released ca. 2007, if I recall correctly, and then was dredged up during Obama’s first term and he was, of course, blamed for its contents.
