IF YOU HAD the chance to ask the Troika anything, what questions would you put forward?
Independent TD Stephen Donnelly is to meet with the members of the Troika this afternoon, and is looking for input from TheJournal.ie readers.
He will be checking in with the questions posted to our open thread before he meets with them mid-afternoon, and is hoping that some will play a role in influencing what he asks.
Deputy Donnelly will fill us in on how the meeting went, and which questions from commenters informed the meeting, after it concludes.
It is anticipated that he will speak to the Troika about how the EU/IMF programme is going, where they think Ireland should be improving, whether they are aware of the difficulties on the ground in Ireland, and what the IMF and ECB are saying about the country.

@Brendan Harlowe: Yes just 7 prisoners, but 4,285 people tested positive in past 24 hours, and they all will be housed in government isolation centres.
@Alan Byrne: So then that means there are 4,285 prisoners
According to a news outlet earlier today, Hong Kong is taking even non-symptomatic cases into hospital.
Then treating patients outside where cameras and media can see them.
Looks like Hong King’s pro-Beijing govt is just using covid restrictions to really just clamp down on the freedoms of its population if you ask me.
These prisoners are lucky they haven’t been chosen for ” organ donation “. Id recommend people to watch ” Human Harvest ” an eye opener if anybody still needs one
