BROADCASTER AND JOURNO Vincent Browne is a tough cookie – but is he hard enough for this film?
We’ve just seen the character posters for new Irish film King of the Travellers, due out in cinemas on 19 April.
And news just in – not for those of a delicate disposition – is that Browne is to mediate a Q&A in a special preview screening of the film at the Irish Film Institute on 18 April at 6.30pm.
But does he fancy his chances against these guys? Good luck, Vinny. This is the film the US screen trade mag Variety is calling “a Gaelic Godfather”.

Ive got my bucket & spade, just waiting for the sun. Weather was in the high twenties this time last year! :-(
Sure if the sun does come out we have to deal with the locked skum having pitch battles up and down the beaches..
