A WOMAN IN her 20s has died following a single vehicle crash on the N71 Skibbereen Bypass, Cork.
The woman was a passenger in the car which lost control at 1.45 this morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to Cork University Hospital.
Five other people, one woman and four men, all in their 20s have been taken to Cork University Hospital. The female is described as being in a critical condition and the others as having non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver was arrested at the scene but has since also been brought to Cork University Hospital.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending the completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Clonakilty Garda Station on 023 8821570, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

On paper he is worth several billion but until there is a Facebook IPO and he liquidates some of his stake then he’s living on his basic salary (which I don’t deny is probably worth a few dollars).
