SARS-like virus kills 5 people in Saudi Arabia

The virus, known as novel coronavirus, was first detected in mid-2012 and is a cousin of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

FIVE SAUDIS HAVE died of a new SARS-like virus during the past few days and two more are being treated in an intensive care unit, the health ministry said.

In a statement cited by the Saudi SPA agency late on Wednesday, the ministry said that all the deaths occurred in the Ahsaa province in the oil-rich eastern region of the kingdom.

Known as novel coronavirus or hCoV-EMC, the virus was first detected in mid-2012 and is a cousin of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which triggered a scare 10 years ago when it erupted in east Asia, leaping to humans from animal hosts.

The health ministry said it is taking “all precautionary measures for persons who have been in contact with the infected people… and has taken samples from them to examine if they are infected.”

However, the ministry gave no figures for how many people have been examined to see if they have the lethal disease.

Sixteen people have now died from 23 cases detected in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Germany and Britain. Riyadh has accounted for most of the deaths, with 11 people including the five new fatalities.

Coronaviruses cause most common colds and pneumonia, but are also to blame for unusual conditions such as SARS which killed more than 800 people when it swept out of China in 2003.

The new virus is different from SARS, in that it causes rapid kidney failure.

The strain is shrouded in mystery, and the World Health Organisation (WHO) does not yet know how it is transmitted or how widespread it is.

A 73-year-old Saudi man died in Germany in March from the lethal new virus. He had been travelling in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia before falling ill, and was transferred to Munich from Abu Dhabi on March 19.

He’s talking about the apparent goal of the global elites to reduce the earths population dramatically, keeping just enough people alive to keep everything running smoothly for them.
The idea being, there are too many people currently on earth using the limited resources available.
These global elites see themselves as superior human beings and look on the vast majority of mankind as “useless eaters”

They plan to reduce the population through vaccinations that compromise the immune system, genetically modifying food so it looses many nutritional benefits and causes adverse affects to our genetics. Also they genetically modify food so that it doesn’t naturally reproduce and they patent this genetically modified foods which gives them total control over our food supply.

Further to this they plan on bringing about a system whereby we are all implanted with a chip that has our national security/pps numbers on them, our bank details and can be tracked.
If you then decide to fight against this system of control they will simply turn off your access to your bank account leaving you without money.

That’s the gist of what ‘Truth’ was talking about, although a lot of this seems far fetched there is some valid evidence that suggests at least some of it may be true.

It may sound “wacky” But I wouldn’t be so naive as to think the idea would not be favoured by at least some of these elitists.

So it’s changed from something that is actually happening to an idea that you think “some of these elitists” might have…

I don’t think anything on it, I merely informed you of the alleged plot.
I’m also wise enough to realise there are some very evil people in this world, the worst of which are the ones who have the finances to bring their wacky ideas to life.

Millions die of starvation every month, hundreds of thousands from dysentery and diarrhea, tens of thousands more from the most common form the influenza virus.

This is scaremongering, plain and simple. It is simply not a news story and the more I read the more I realise that what you are doing here at the Journal.ie is not journalism.

Where exactly are you getting this information from if you don’t mind me asking? I can’t speak about the others because I know nothing about them but Bill Gates and the Gates Foundation are doing some great work to further development of vaccines to help the population as opposed to decreasing the population. As well as this the foundation also do great work with top researchers globally to tackle the problem of 6 diseases recognised as neglected tropical diseases.

This is actually being called Saudi SARS – logically enough – but no doubt many do not want to risk offending the Saudis as they have so much oil! they have been decidedly reticent and ‘careless’ not reporting cases – it was an Egyptian virologist working in Riyadh who blew the whistle by publishing on Promed (for which he was promptly deported!). The risk of this virus being carried globally by millions returning from the annual pilgrimage to Mecca last October was clearly one they were happy to take – nothing was ever heard from the WHO monitoring team sent out at the time – no autopsies seem to have been performed even on younger people dying from respiratory disease. Saudi SARS is the first virus known to be able to grow in more than one species – it is certainly one to watch – though the risk of vH7N9 reassorting with H1N1 resulting in a new virus that is contagious between humans is currently the big concern. Eire should ignore the WHO ‘advice’ and install body temperature scanners at airports as by acting promptly she could fare much better than some countries if/when the pandemic occurs (those looking for certainty are not living in the real world and those with the instincts of an Ostrich may find that their luck has run out…)
