Parts of Dublin city without water all day

Dublin City Council is carrying out essential works which will affect a large chunk of the northside of the city until midnight tonight.

Updated 15:50

PARTS OF DUBLIN are being hit by reduced water supply all day today as Dublin City Council carries out essential works – but one area has seen the works completed already.

The council has said that works on the Malahide road have been successfully completed and water has now been restored.

The council has warned residents across parts of the northside – including Raheny, Artane, Killester, Coolock, Edenmore, Kilbarrack and Donnycarney – to expect a disruption to the supply of water to their homes and businesses, beginning at 6am this morning and lasting until midnight.

Some areas will have a loss of supply while others will have reduced water pressure.

Mobile water tankers will be in place throughout the day, moving to different areas where they are needed in response to requests from the public or from businesses, Dublin City Council said.

The council apologised for the inconvenience caused by the works and said it is trying to minimise the disruption as much as possible.

And why would they want to remove it from the water supply?

A guy in a tin foil hat once told me that they put floride in the water to control us and to stop us from rising up….
