New Irish photography hits Dublin, Limerick, Cork

Get an eyeful of these…

AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION of new Irish photography has opened this week across Dublin, Limerick and Cork.

The PhotoIreland Festival 2013 is the fourth year of the exhibition with events and showings across the three cities for the month of July. Up to 25 Irish and Ireland-based photographers are showcased in the New Irish Works exhibition but there are also solo and other exhibitions to view (have a click through to here to find all details). Events, including workshops, talks, films and fairs, are listed here.

PhotoIreland Festival has kindly given us permission to reproduce a slideshow of a small selection of the images which are in the New Irish Works exhibition. It might give you a taste to go and see the rest – opening times and locations are here.

    Disappointingly predictable shots. Nothing groundbreaking.

Predictable? As in, you just knew what was coming up before you clicked on the slideshow? That’s a serious talent you have.
