DON’T PUT AWAY those shorts just yet – because the good weather is set to last right into next weekend.
Colour us excited (with a bit of sunburn), because this is what we have to look forward to, according to Met Éireann:
Unfortunately, we can expect humid nights – but that’s a small price to pay for lovely sunny days, right?
That means we get to do all these things we’ve been enjoying this past week:
Hanging out with family in paddling pools:

@Leslie. I used to frequent a watering hole in Calcutta where shirt and tie and jacket was the rule, even in the hottest humid days of the monsoon. The trick in arriving nice and neat was to hop into taxi bare from waist up and just put on shirt and tie and jacket as you got near the place. Gerry’s tip on the anti smelly stuff is good too. Hope this is of help and best wishes for the day :-)

Getting married at the weekend- woohoo!!
So sick of this damn weather. Serious hay fever problems causing me to constantly feel run down and depleted even with prescription strength drugs. Neighbours who think the Beastie Boys are human rights activists and seem to believe their “right” to party supersedes everyone else’s right to sleep, even on school nights. Too damn hot to sleep with the windows closed, too damn loud to sleep with them open.
