You can eat in every 3-Michelin starred restaurant in the world... for €209,000

That’s the cost per couple of a new elite foodie tour. Per couple? Bargain, so.

FOODIES TRAVEL THE world to dine in the very best restaurants, but getting to all of these places is no easy feat.

Two British luxury travel sites, VeryFirstTo.com and Holidaysplease.co.uk, have teamed up to offer a tour that will let foodies dine in all 109 3-Michelin starred restaurants in the world.

The programme will take about six months and will take guests to all 3-Michelin starred restaurants across 12 countries, including Japan, England, the US, Hong Kong, and France.

Restaurants featured on the tour include The Fat Duck in England, Lung King Heen in Hong Kong, Sushi Yoshitake in Tokyo, Per Se in New York, and Le Meurice in Paris. Those participating will eat at about one restaurant every other day.

Participants will also stay in five-star luxury hotels like the Trump International in New York, the Conrad in Tokyo, the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, and Claridge’s in London.

“This is a truly exceptional and sensational gourmet travel experience, it is by far the most lavish we have ever organised,” Charles Duncombe of Holidaysplease said, according to the Daily News.

The package costs about €209,000 per couple, including airfare and lodging. Although that might seem like an extraordinary number, when you consider that a meal at one of these restaurants might cost upwards of €700,  a hotel room at a luxury property could cost more than that, and trans-continental airfare for an around the world trip could run in the hundreds of thousands, it’s actually not a bad deal. Well, you know, if you’re someone with a million or two burning a hole in your pocket…

Why settle for a 3 star when you can have a 5 star meal at home, prepared by the best cook in the world, but at a tiny fraction of the cost.

This Michelin star allows the over pricing of restaurants in places where celebrity chefs name the restaurants and never even cook there
Eat where u enjoy don’t let a road map dictate to u where to eat ,and chances are the inspectors are taking backhanders

I’ll be bored after 2 or 3 of them and probably head out to McDonald’s. seems too cheap too if you consider all travel and accommodation cost in 5 star + they need to make money on that too, where is the catch?
